MSQ Studio is being forced to vacate 17 Market Square because the space is tangled up in the bankruptcy proceedings of the former tenant. While I believe that we have the legal right to be here, neither I nor our landlord want to spend the time, energy and money we estimate will be required to defend our position. MSQ Studio operations are suspended unless or until we find another suitable location for our Internet media studio and event venue.

The good news is that our sister businesses are in various stages of launch: Tvinga is up-and-running with several clients already, Tawlk Media published its first TechTawlk article, and Syncslate–an all new platform for internet video production, management, hosting, distribution and analytics–will launch later this summer. And who knows, perhaps MSQ Studio will resurface.

With the help of JAO Productions and yours truly, they produced two quick episodes of Knoxify TV. One spotlights Santiago Ramirez, a creative pro recently featured in the Knoxville blog’s wildly popular Hire Me series. The other focuses on Brian Jacobus, who voluntarily left his job to focus full-time on his passion, KnoxMac, a local Apple service provider.
